Alfalfa Drying System is specially designed for drying moisture 75-80% fresh alfalfa direclty. The key equipment of alfalfa drying system is rotary alfalfa dryer which is developed and optimized from traditional rotary dryer. After being dried by the alfalfa drying system, the moisture of the alfalfa can be less than 13% or as need, and moisture content 13% is safe storage humidity.

Alfalfa Drying System mainly includes the alfalfa cutting machine, input belt conveyor, output belt conveyor, burner, hot air furnace, alfalfa dryer, air duct, chimney, induced draft fan, electric control cabinet, inlet feeder, outlet feeder, etc.

The working principle of alfalfa drying system is as belows:

1. Alfalfa cutting Machine to make the fresh alfalfa into small pieces less than 10mm, so that it can be heated and dried by alfalfa dryer sufficiently and evenly.

2. Input belt conveyor sends smaller size alfalfa into alfalfa dryer machine through inlet feeder.

3. Burner and Hot air furnace are used to burn the furl, and generate and supply hot flue gas for the alfalfa dryer machine. The customers can select to use the most economical fuel such as waste wood, coal, diesel, natural gas, LPG, biomass fuel, etc according to the actual situation.

4. Inside the alfalfa dryer machine, the water in the alfalfa is evaporated into vapor, and under the function of induced draft fan, the water vapor is sucked out of the alfalfa dryer in time, and dry alfalfa comes out of outlet feeder.

5. Inside the cyclone separator, the exhaust air is separated from the dried alfalfa. The exhaust air goes into atmosphere through the draft fan, and the dried alfalfa fall down and go out through the discharge feeder evenly.
