After being dried and reduced the moisture content, the dry wood chips can be used as biomass fuel for boiler, power plant, etc. Wood chips drying machine can be used to dry wet wood chips to be moisture content less than 20% or as need.
When the wood chips drying machine is working, the drum of the wood chips dryer is rotating at a certain speed. On the inner wall of the wood chips dryer, there are many lifting boards. These lifting boards shovel the wet wood chips up and down. In this process, the wet wood chips contact the hot air sufficiently. The water inside the wet wood chips gradually become water vapor and comes out of the dryers. The dried wood chips goes our through the discharge hole of the wood chips dryer.
--- Burner and hot air stove generate and supply high temperature flue gas for the drying machine;
--- Input belt conveyor sends wet wood chips into wood chip drying machine through inlet feeder.
--- Inside the wood chip drying machine, the water is evaporated into vapor, and moisture content of wood chip is reduced to be about 20%.
--- Through outlet feeder the dry wood chips comes out of the dryer and to be taken away by output belt conveyor.
--- Induced draft fan makes hot flue gas into dryer machine, and makes the exhaust air and water vapor out of the dryer. Then goes into cyclone dust separator.
--- Cyclone dust separator is used to separate the fine wood powder from the exhaust air and water vapor.
--- Electric control cabinet is used to control the whole wood chip drying machine.
