Fuel consumption of poultry manure dryer machine

Poultry manure dryer machine also is called poultry manure drying machine, and it is to use high temperature flus gas to heat and dry wet chicken manure so as to evaporate the water into vapor, and make the wet chicken manure become dry. 

The related burner and hot air furnace is used to burn the fuel, and generate high temperature flue gas for the poultry manure dryer machine.

For the poultry manure dryer machine, the customers are very care the related fuel consumption.  Poultry manure dryer can be used to heat and dry both of fresh chicken manure with moisture content about 70% and fermented chicken manure with moisture content about 40%.

Then how to calculate the fuel consumption of poultry manure drying machine ?

For example, for one scale 100,000 layer hens chicken farm, everyday it can generate about 10 tons fresh chicken manure. The input moisture content of fresh chicken manure is about 70%, and the output moisture content is 30%, then for drying 10 tons fresh chicken manure, can produce about 4.5 tons dry chicken manure, and get rid of about 5.5 tons water and the water become water vapor to be got rid of.

According to our past experience, the heat consumption is about 3,580,000 Kcal. To produce one ton dry chicken manure,  the heat consumption is 3,580,000 Kcal / 4.5 tons dry chicken manure  = about 800,000 Kcal per ton dry chicken manure.

If use standard coal as fuel, the coal consumption per ton dry chicken manure = 800,000 Kcal /  7500kcal = 106 kg coal.

If use natural gas as fuel, the natural gas consumption per ton dry chicken manure = 800,000 Kcal /  8500kcal = 94 m3 natural gas.

If use diesel as fuel,  the diesel consumption per ton dry chicken manure = 800,000 Kcal /  1100kcal = 72 kg diesel.
